Joan M Reed - Advice Coordinator (Crisis Support)
Joan joined FISCUS in 2007. Since coming to FISCUS she has helped various people in regards to money and benefits advice and also helping them in their return to work or into Self Employment. Joan also delivers welfare benefits training to benefit advisers and outside agencies, and delivers Health and Wealth events around the city. Educated to degree level in computing, she also has an NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance. Prior to this Joan worked for Newcastle Welfare Rights, Middlesbrough Citizens Advice Bureau, North Tyneside Welfare Benefits and Sunderland Welfare Rights. Joan has over 13 years experience in Benefits to the level of representation at tribunal, and 7 years experience in debt advice.
Stephen Robinson - Debt and Benefits Adviser (Livin)
Stephen has formal qualifications in Financial Advice, Debt Management and Enterprise Coaching. He has over 10 years experience working in Financial Services, specialising in mortgage advice and underwriting. He is a very experienced Welfare Benefits/Debt adviser and joined Fiscus in 2009. Stephen has held a number of positions within Fiscus during this time and is was our Enterprise and Financial Inclusion Engagement Coach.
Stephen’s role at Fiscus includes: Providing advice to clients on a range of welfare & debt issues; Deliver Money MOT’s; Provide workshops on welfare benefits and debt.
Joanna Elliott - Finance Coordinator
Joanna joined FISCUS in 2010. She has 33 years experience in Finance and has been working in charity sector for the last 10 years. Joanna is AAT qualified, she also has experience in HR and administration. Prior to working with FISCUS she has worked in various management roles in the private sector: Swallow Hotels, Cornhill Insurance, AON Risk Management, Citi Finance and TMobile.
Anita Heskett-Saddington - Charity Manager
Anita joined FISCUS 10 years ago as Charity Manager. Anita has previously worked as a Manager in community economic development and local communities for 25 years. Educated to postgraduate level as Northumbria University (Urban Policy and Regeneration), prior to joining FISCUS, Anita was founder and Managing Director of Regeneration Social Enterprise, ARK 19 for 8 years.
